Peacefully at home with her family by her side. Dearly beloved sister of Pierre (Nicole Bossé), Marie, Marc (Chantal), and Julie (Vicky Tessier). Cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by her parents Georges and Simone Bertrand and by brother-in-law Dean Elder. Graduating in 1965 from the Lorrain School of Nursing, Michele enjoyed a 30-year career as a registered nurse at the Ottawa Hospital (General Campus). Friends are invited to visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry 1200 Ogilvie Road (at Aviation Parkway), Ottawa, on Saturday May 31, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place at Ste. Genevieve Roman Catholic Church at 825 Canterbury Avenue on Monday, June 2 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow in church hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Carefor Health & Community Services. A special thanks to the team of palliative care nurses and doctors who helped Michele in her final journey.
